Village Reforestation

The farm is also sponsoring an ambitious scheme to replenish trees in the local communities that surround the farm. The programme aims to encourage every village to plant enough trees to be self-sufficient for fire wood and to supply themselves with tree products for lighting, medicine and essential vitamins. The programme is similar to one sponsored by the Scottish Government (see Janeemo.org).
