Toleza Farm, Malawi

Volunteering

Our first volunteer student was Tom Turney in 2008. Since then we have taken an increasing number of volunteers, in 2010-2011 we took a total of ten volunteers spread over the year. Volunteers spend typically between three and nine months at the farm.

The farm works closely with local schools and community leaders to identifies areas of need. There are ongoing placements in schools where volunteers provide very welcomed support to the faculties of schools in the vicinity of the farm. There are also opportunities that vary from work on projects, building school class rooms or assisting repair of orphanages to assisting in the setting up of a micro financing or teaching essential entrepreneurial skills to adults. See what its like to volunteer at Toleza Farm.
