Toleza Cotton
We have created a network of 600 smallholder farmer clubs covering some 6000ha across Malawi whose cotton we buy and process at the Toleza Cotton Ginnery.
Our gin has capacity to produce in excess of 6,000Mt Cotton Lint each year and our stringent quality control processes ensure this is some of the best quality cotton produced in Malawi. As a by-product of our cotton processing activities we typically have Cotton Seed, Motes, Cotton Oil, and Cotton Seed Cake available for sale.
Toleza Cotton strongly believes that the cotton industry in Malawi needs to become more sustainable and is supporting activities to improve agricultural working practices, help farmers increase their incomes and to deliver benefits back to local communities.
